How far along? 40 weeks! We are due today!
Baby is the size of? A pumpkin
Total weight gain/loss: 34 lbs...as of last week, we'll see what they say tomorrow
Maternity clothes? living in maternity clothes but even they are getting too tight
Stretch marks?  Yes
Sleep: sleeping is getting harder and harder these days. 
Best moment this week: reaching our due date is so exciting! We are hoping he will arrive soon!
Movement: Still lots of strong movements...feeling him really low these days
Food cravings: Still loving sweets
Anything making you queasy or sick: not anymore! I will eat anything!

Gender prediction: It's a BOY!!!
Labor Signs:  not feeling anything today... Hoping to feel some contractions soon...I want this to be my last blog post without a baby!

39 Weeks!

How far along?  39 weeks! One more week til our due date!
Baby is the size of? Watermelon....Just getting chunkier in there :)

Maternity clothes? living in maternity clothes but even they are getting too tight

Sleep: Definitely waking up a lot to go to the bathroom...also having more back pain that wakes me up
Best moment this week: Finally feeling like we are hospital ready! We've got all the bags packed and ready. I love knowing that he can arrive any time now and it won't be much longer!
Movement: Still lots of strong movements...feeling him really low these days
Food cravings: Still loving sweets

Labor Signs:  Sunday was an interesting day, definitely had contractions....thought he was coming early! No contractions since then, I think it was just him dropping lower.

Exercise: still working on this but I am really inconsistent
Looking forward to: My mom coming to visit this week! I'm sure it'll be the last time I see her before Noah arrives!

38 Weeks!

How far along?  38 weeks!
Baby is the size of? Watermelon....Just getting chunkier in there :)
Total weight gain/loss: 32 lbs....they say weight gain should slow or stop at this point, totally not the case for this mamma
Maternity clothes? living in maternity clothes but even they are getting too tight
Stretch marks?  Yes...hopefully new ones have stopped developing
Sleep: Definitely waking up a lot to go to the bathroom....not much discomfort other than that though
Best moment this week: Gabe installed the car seat and put together the stroller and the swing! We are officially ready with our gear!!! I also packed the diaper bag and started working on the hospital bag.
Movement: Still lots of strong movements but I have noticed that they are slowing down...he must be running out of space.
Food cravings: Still loving sweets...we have been making cookies regularly

Noah's Nursery!

We finally finished Noah's nursery!!!

37 weeks!

How far along?  37 weeks!
Baby is the size of? Watermelon....I think he is a watermelon from here on out according to my baby app
Total weight gain/loss: 30 lbs....will weigh again at the doc tomorrow
Maternity clothes? living in maternity clothes but even they are getting too tight!
Stretch marks?  Yes....seeing more and more everyday....not a fan of them!
Sleep: Definitely waking up a lot to go to the bathroom....not much discomfort other than that though
Best moment this week: Finally starting the month of our due date!!! Also, Noah has had the hiccups twice this week and it was the first time I had experienced that! Such a cool feeling and so cute! We also finished the nursery completely!
Movement: Still lots of strong movements but I have noticed that they are slowing down...he must be running out of space.
Food cravings: Still loving sweets, pumpkin spice frapps and any baked good :)

36 weeks!

How far along?  36 weeks!
Baby is the size of? Watermelon

Maternity clothes? LOVING maternity pants and tops!
Stretch marks?  Yes
Sleep: Definitely waking up a lot...have to roll over a lot from pain in my hips
Best moment this week: our doctors appt today...we got confirmation that he is behaving with his head down now! Hoping he stays that way from here on out!
Movement: he's a big mover! Can be painful and very distracting!
Food cravings: still loving sweets... On a big kick of decaf pumpkin spice fraps from Starbucks... I've had 5 in the past week and a half :)

35 Weeks!

How far along?  35 weeks!
Baby is the size of? Large Cantaloupe (19-22 in, 6 pounds)
Total weight gain/loss: 29 lbs.
Maternity clothes? LOVING maternity pants and tops!
Stretch marks?  Yes
Sleep: Definitely waking up a lot...have to roll over a lot from pain in my hips
Best moment this week: We went to the doctor today and found out that Noah is in breech position...when the midwife did an ultrasound to confirm his position, he flipped around completely while running from the ultrasound wand :) We are hoping that he will settle in down there soon and stop flipping. By the time we got to the car I felt his head back up at the top of my stomach. I'm going to have to start icing the top of my stomach to scare him back down!
Movement:Clearly, he is still flipping around in there as much as he wants to. I love feeling him but would love for him to settle down!
Food cravings: still loving sweets

Total weight gain/loss: 27 lbs.
Maternity clothes? LOVING maternity pants and tops!
Stretch marks?  Yes, I have had several more show up over the past week 
Sleep: definitely getting more uncomfortable....I've been trying extra pillows and not much helps 
Best moment this week: with only 6 weeks to go, it's starting to feel so real to us both!
Movement: he is moving tons and he has found my rib cage...ouch :)

Stretch marks?  i've got my first belly stretch mark
Sleep: I sleep pretty good....waking up several times is my new norm :)
Best moment this week: we've been getting lots of things done around the house... Painting furniture, new light fixture, and lots of decorating for fall! Definitely in nesting mode and loving it!
Movement: he is constantly moving, kicking, punching, or squirming....it's awesome
Food cravings: I am in baking mode these days and really craving the sweets!

Maternity clothes? LOVING maternity pants and tops!
Stretch marks?  definitely spotted some fresh marks on my lower back and love handles
Sleep: I sleep pretty good....waking up several times is my new norm :)
Best moment this week: My best friend had her precious baby girl!!!
Movement: He is moving so much! I rarely notice them anymore except for the large movements he makes on occasion that take my breath away
Food cravings: I love it all!
Anything making you queasy or sick: not anymore! I will eat anything!

31 Weeks!

How far along?  31 weeks, only 9 or so more to go!
Baby is the size of? Pineapple! (19 inches, 3.9 pounds)
Total weight gain/loss: 22 lb...last I checked :) will know for sure at the doc tomorrow
Maternity clothes? LOVING maternity pants and tops!
Stretch marks?  not that I can see but I am sure there are some under my belly
Sleep: I sleep pretty good....waking up several times is my new norm :)
Best moment this week: I had an amazing baby shower over the weekend in huntersville! It was so much fun celebrating with friends and family!! My mom and cousins did an amazing job throwing it! I have also been with family all week while I work and I have loved it!
Movement: He is moving all day every day! His movements are so big lately that they knock the wind out of me. You can also see my entire stomach move...which is so cool but kind of freaky!
Food cravings: I love it all!
